We installed a 2" front hitch onto a 1996 Chevrolet 1500. The front hitch is manufactured by Curt #31042. This hitch was relatively easy to install, attached using preexisting weld nuts. We did however have to make modifications and trim the front bumper to make room for the front hitch. The weight capacity rating is 5,000 lbs. gross trailer weight and 500 lbs. tongue weight. Featured in the hitch is the Kuat Shepra 2.0 bike rack.
